Shape your worries into prayers

Let your petitions and praises shape your worries into prayers

The uncertainty of the day may produce anxiety in your mind but as children of God with access to His Word we can receive peace.

Jesus invites us to come to Him all who are weary and heavy laden to receive His comfort, His strength, His peace.

1 Peter 5:7 “Casting all your anxiety upon Him, because He cares for you.”

Philippians 4:6-7 “Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”

Message paraphrase “Instead of worrying, pray. Let your petitions and praises shape your worries into prayers, letting God know your concerns. … It’s wonderful what happens when Christ displaces worry at the center of your life.”

Corrie ten Boom “Worry is an old man with a bended head carrying a load of feathers that he thinks is lead.”
